7:30 p.m. 2022-DV1-038. 7525 Edgewater Drive (approximate address). Grandson Land Development seeks a Variance of development standards for the Consolidated Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance to provide for a single family detached dwelling with a one foot front yard setback from Edgewater Drive, with zero square feet of main living area (660 square feet of main floor living space is required).
 7:50 p.m. 2022-PLT-054 1775 East 96th Street BC Real Street Partners LLC, seeks  Approval of a Subdivision Plat, to be known as Shortee’s, dividing 23.16 acres into 74 lots, with the vacation of the existing right of way of a portion of Real Street for the purpose of relocating Real Street to the southwest within the new right of way to be dedicated by this plat.
8:10 p.m. 2022-DV2-030. 8040 and 8042 Westfield Blvd Westwood Properties LLC, seeks a Variance of development standards of the Consolidated Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance to legally establish two lots with the deficient lot area (0.38 and 0.48 acres) and lot width (85 feet and 110 feet) (minimum of one acre requires, 150 foot lot width required) and; 
To provide for the construction of a single family dwelling at 8040 Westfield Boulevard, with a north side yard setback of 14 feet and an open space of 75% (15 foot side set back and 85% open space required) and;
To provide for the construction of a single family dwelling at 8042 Westfield Boulevard with an open space of 75% (85% open space required).
8:40 p.m.  2022-APP-012. 2001 West 86th St.  St. Vincent Hospital and Health Care Center seeks Hospital District-One Approval to provide for a 110,000 square-foot building addition for Brain and Spine Hospital.  Hearing date:  August 26, 2022.

Meeting Guidelines

NCC meetings will be held firmly to traditional rules of order.  In addition,

  • Meetings will begin promptly and conclude as scheduled.
  • All participants will aim to create a positive meeting environment, including respectful communication, limited personal interruptions, and a thoughtful attitude.
  • Participants will maintain a sense of humor and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Participants will focus discussion on NCC’s mission, needs, or interests, not personal positions.
  • Consensus decision-making is the aim of the meetings.
  • Participants are expected to become involved in meeting discussions.  Questions, ideas, and thoughts are shared with the whole group.  (Please – one meeting only).
  • Participants will respect the meeting agenda and the opinions of others.
  • Ask moderator for floor.
  • After speaking, allow two others to speak before speaking again.

NCC realizes that some issues are very emotionally charged.  However rude, abusive or insulting comments will not be tolerated.
